THE BASICS
WHO CAN BUY ONE
Silencers are regulated under the National Firearms Act (NFA), which means there's a federal approval process - but it's straightforward if you meet the basic requirements. Most law-abiding adults qualify.
21 OR OLDER
Must be at least 21 to purchase from a dealer. 18+ if purchasing through a trust or corporation.
LEGAL STATE
You must reside in one of the 42 states where silencers are legal. New Mexico is one of them.
NO DISQUALIFYING RECORD
Standard federal firearm eligibility applies — no felony convictions or other disqualifying factors.

Buying a silencer is more paperwork than buying a standard firearm, but it's not complicated. Here's what to expect from start to finish.

CHOOSE YOUR SILENCER
Browse our on-site Silencer Shop kiosk. Filter by caliber, host firearm, or brand.

COMPLETE YOUR PAPERWORK
File your ATF Form 4 in-store. The kiosk walks you through it. We handle the dealer side.

ATF REVIEW
Your Form 4 goes to the ATF for approval. Current wait times vary — typically several months.
04
PICK IT UP
Once your approval comes through, come in and pick up your silencer. That's it.
